This variety by Gustaf's consists of firm coin-shaped rounds that pack a strong black licorice flavour with double the salt. This is a true dutch style licorice using ammonium chloride for saltiness, so you can certainly expect the intensity you've been craving for.

Each licorice candy is stamped with "DZ" - an abbreviation for Dubbel Zout, which means double salt! Dubbel Zout Drops or Double Salt Licorice Drops will always be one of the Netherlands' culinary treasures, and it is so beloved throughout Northern & Western Europe that they even call it "black gold"!
